Year 9 residential trip (Cameron Highlands) First day.

The learners departed from Nexus International school at around 8:30 am. After the 4-5 tiring hours of bus ride to Cameron Highlands, we finally reached our destination, Equitorial Hotel with delight in our eyes. After freshening up in our rooms with incredible views out the window, we gathered at the lobby for a series of team building activities at the nearby field.

We were divided into 3 groups, we discussed with the head organizer about "team work". After a quick starter activity to build a sense of cooperation and relation between the boys and girls, we continued through a series of team activities in our groups. Half way through, our focus got disturbed by the rain. This forced us to change our location to the basement car park. This was no trouble though, it was cooling and comfortable down there. Everyone agreed it beats the humidity of Kuala Lumpur and also Putrajaya.

We got a short lecture about relationships and love, the meaning of them. In our groups, we put our understanding towards cooperation, support to the test and the bond between one another. :) At the end of the activities, all of us felt touched and closer to one another in every aspect possible. We hugged it out.  Then we walked with joy in our hearts back to our hotel, eager for delicious meals. But this would have to wait until we take a shower.
