The Walk through the Mossy Forest!

Mud. Rain. Moss. And Trees. These are just the few things we found on our sensational walk through the Mossy, GREEN, Forest.

We started out at the bottom like everything else and worked our way to the top. And through the journey, we sledged our way through the thick and mud-infested forest. All of sudden, we heard a thunderous growl behind our backs that sounded like a gigantic, black Puma. Slowly, we turned our terrified faces expecting death awaiting us and LO AND BEHOLD! It was only Haziq and his growling stomach, yearning for food.

Then we realized that in this forest there weren't any animals because of the high altitude and temperature. The was a lot of MOSS and it was green and wet. When squeezed, it released a large amount of water.  The moss made everything look magnificent, especially when the golden rays of the sunlight poured through the forest. The tour guide also showed us some interesting plants that are used around the world for various things like Mosquito repellant and medicine. It was a steep climb but with the help pf our amazing friends we made it through... WE WERE ALL SURVIVORS!

It was a fun walk and we would not mind doing it again and maybe next time we will meet some of the "rare snakes"

  1. The mossy forest looks interesting. It must have been cooler for you in all that undergrowth. I have no doubt there would have been a lot of muddy shoes or was there a walkway along the whole forest floor? Great photos!
